Intermountain Power Plant

Shurtleff & Andrews erected 70,000 tons of structural steel for the Intermountain Power Project. To accelerate the Unit One milestone dates, we erected over 4,000 tons of structural steel per month for each of six consecutive months. The boiler support girders weighed 200 tons each and were set at an elevation of 301 feet.

Shurtleff & Andrews also erected 25,000 tons of pre-cast concrete for the four
Cooling Towers at IPP.
